Law of Attraction Weekly Thought 17

Have you fallen off your New Year’s Resolution? You are not alone. Millions of people will have done this by the middle of January.

Being successful in any resolution, whether it be for the New Year or any other time, is really about building new routines. Building new routines is easier to do when you focus more on what you want, then on what you don't. Let’s give an example of what can happen to someone with a lack of focus on the desired outcome.

You start off the New Year with a resolution. You are motivated and you are doing good. Unfortunately, life, your “old life” is happening around you at the same time you are trying to raise your vibration into a new reality. That “old life or habit”, which is of a lower vibration, begins to catch your attention. You try your best to ignore it but you feel like you cannot. Eventually, the old life begins to capture more and more of your attention. As a result, you lose focus on your goals/resolutions.

As we know from the law of attraction, the more you focus on whatever it is that you don't like, the more of that you are going to get. This lack of focus, is what takes people away from their initial goal.

What we challenge you to do, is reinvigorate your New Year's Resolution with Gratitude. A Gratitude Challenge can help to shift your vibration away from the lower vibratory "old life or habit" and raise your vibration to the positive. The more you can stay at a higher vibratory state, the easier it is to change old habits or shift into a new reality.
