What is raising your vibration?
As a practitioner of qigong, I like to explain many aspects in terms of energy. Energy is all around us and it vibrates at a certain level. The level at which you vibrate is a reflection of the level of health, stress and anxiety you have in your life. When you are in a relaxed, uplifted mood and healthy state, then collectively you are vibrating at a level above the "I feel good" bar. (Please watch video below)
How does raising your vibration relate to anxiety and stress
When you are stressed and/or feeling anxious, then you are in a vibration below the bar. You are in a non-healthy state. Consistently vibrating at this state will produce a non-healthy physical as well as mental/emotional state. If you have heard of the terms chronic stress or anxiety disorders, then you can understand the concept. In order to bring yourself into a healthy state both mentally/emotionally and physically, you need to raise your vibration to a healthy state. You also need to maintain that vibration. The longer you can vibrate at a higher level, the healthier you become and the easier it gets to stay at a higher level.
Example
Let's say your overall combined health value (emotionally, physically & spiritually) is at a level of 35. You then get into the habit of raising your vibration to a level of 60 and maintaining it during a meditation session. Let's say you did this consistently for a month, you would be raising your overall health value. You probably won't raise it to a level of 60, you will probably raise it to a level of less say 45. Overall, you are still below the healthy state (arbitrarily set at 50), however, you still feel better than how you felt before, which is important. You have more energy, you are more focused and more enthusiastic about continuing to raise your vibration since you can intuitively sense you are close to being in a healthy state.
