Half Lotus Pose

  • Sit on a cushion, zabutonir?t=onlimediselfh-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B000HZE69E Half-lotus and Lotus - Sedona Retreats or floor and place one foot on the opposite thigh and the other foot on the floor beneath the opposite thigh.
  • Make sure that your spine stays straight and is not tilting to one side.  If both of your knees cannot touch the floor, you may desire to place a pillow underneath the elevated knee.
  • Alternate placing the right or left foot on the opposite thigh for each meditation session. For instance, one day place the right foot on the left thigh and then the next day place the left foot on the right thigh. This will distribute the pressure on your back and legs.
  • Relax, smile and have fun.
