Supta baddha konasana (reclined bound angle pose)
- Sit on a cushion, zabuton
or floor and place some pillows, blankets or yoga bolster behind you.
- Place both soles of the feet together while bending both knees. Allow the knees to fall out to either side. If desired, place pillows, blankets or yoga bolsters under your knees for comfort.
- Keep the spine long and lean backward onto your support. Spread your arms out to your side, with your palms facing up.
- Place all your supports in a fashion that is comfortable for you and keeps your spine straight and relaxed.
- Relax, smile and have fun.
Note: When you are ready to end the pose, use your hands to support you, roll over to your side and sit up.
