Thank you for opening to the power of meditation.  Before beginning any of the meditations, please make sure you can do the entire meditation in a quiet, comfortable and secluded area. Perform any of the meditations in privacy or with someone else who is also meditating.

2-minute Breathing Exercise

 Energy Channels

Do this quick 2-minute breathing meditation for relaxation, raising your vibration and healing.  It is also a great way to get into the habit of breathing from the abdomen.  When you breathe from the abdomen (abdominal breathing) you optimize energy flow throughout your body.  The more energy that flows, the healthier you are.

For this meditation, sit in a chair with your feet placed firmly on the floor.  Make sure that your back is erect and comfortable.  You can place a pillow underneath your buttocks or place it behind your back in order to make sure that you can keep your back erect.  Most importantly make sure that you are comfortable.

 

When doing the deep breathing exercise, breath from your abdomen.  When you inhale, expand your lower abdomen. When you exhale, allow your abdomen to recoil on its own.

5-Minute Nature Meditation with Waterfall

With this meditation technique you learn to be mindful. The basic premise of the meditation is to gently and continuously gaze at an object of interest in nature, in this case a waterfall. If any thoughts come to your mind, notice them without thoughts or judgments and return to looking at the waterfall. Keep your attention on the object even with thoughts such as “this is so amazing” or “this is a wonderful experience”.  You are training your mind to quiet and focus.  This also means that you must just notice any sensations you feel in your body and then return to your object of interest.

 

Learn to experience sensations in your body without thought or judgment. Continue to relax, breath and trust in the process. Trust that any sensations or energies you are feeling in your body are the result of your coming into alignment with higher source energy. You are relaxing your body and mind to the point that source energy can flow through you freely, thereby raising your vibration. With practice and in time, you will quiet your mind enough to see an “aura” or energy field around your object of focus. It is an amazing experience, but remember to let go of your thoughts and continue to focus on the object of interest.

This is an opportunity for you to be with whatever your experience is from moment to moment. There is no judgement, only a simple observation of the present moment and sensations of your breath. When or if you find your mind wandering, acknowledge it without judgement and return your focus to your breathing.

Get into a comfortable sitting meditation position. Make sure your back is relaxed and erect. You want to make it easy for the energy/breaths to freely flow through your body during your meditation practice.
