Learn mindfulness meditation &amp; qigong (Chinese yoga) to relieve anxiety &amp; stress as well as heal emotionally &amp; physically in this 10-week online course in the [Meditation for Health ProgramTM](https://www.seekwithinyou.com/about/meditation-for-health "Meditation for Health Program"). Meet weekly with an instructor to go through the step-by-step program. Get access to the online material after course ends, ask questions, participate in discussion forum, and more. You will receive the tools to establish a regular meditation practice by the end of the program.

Qigong (pronounced chee gung) is an ancient Chinese health system of healing and energy medicine. Qigong is a system practiced for health maintenance, healing and increasing vitality. It is the art and science of using breathing techniques, gentle movement, and meditation to cleanse, strengthen, and circulate qi (energy). Regular Qigong practice leads to better health, vitality and a quiet mind. During the hour long qigong session, we will start with gentle flowing movements (moving meditation) and then end in a quiet sitting meditation.

Mindfulness is full awareness of your thoughts, feelings and actions in each moment. It is the full presence and awareness of our experience. Mindfulness can be compared to self-awareness. You are aware of self. Being in a mindful state can also be further defined as being in a state of self-awareness without judgment. Consciously observing without judgment is what I like to describe as passive observation. When you are mindful, you are completely self-aware, in the moment and in a state of non-judgment. You are just accepting and experiencing the moment. Being mindful (self-aware and passively observing) during meditation, will bring this awareness into your daily routine. Specifically, mindfulness meditation involves focusing on sensations in your body in a mindful way.
