# Lying or Corpse pose

- Just as the name implies, lie on your back on the floor with arms and legs spread apart.
- This pose tends to lend itself to an individual falling asleep, so you may want to modify the pose and bend your knees.
- Relax, smile and have fun.

**Note:** This is the modified version of the corpse pose. In this picture the legs are bent at the knees. In the corpse pose, the legs are lying on the floor.
