Meditate for Weight Loss

Meditation for weight loss is about instilling patience and being present because losing weight is not a sprint, it is a marathon. For many, overeating has become a way to escape from life's problems. Food can be viewed as a form of comfort, not unlike a clean, warm bed, or a favorite sweatshirt. Meditation is a way to support a person's weight loss plan by getting in touch with the emotions and thoughts regarding food. Meditation can also clear a foundation for healthier thinking and feeling. When you meditate, all your issues regarding weight come up such as your thoughts on your body image, your desires for certain foods and the emotions attached to them. The more you release these energies, the more you improve your self-image and emotional wellbeing and the more weight you can lose naturally.


What type of Meditation do I do?

The type that works for you. There are many types of meditation such as qigong, mindfulness, mantra, etc. The one that is going to help you lose weight is the one that you enjoy doing. If you enjoy doing it, then you will stick with a regular routine. A regular routine is key to building momentum and to raising your vibration to another level. When you raise your vibration (energetic level) you release lower vibrations such as thoughts that do not serve you and cause you to overeat. 


Can I get assistance with Meditation?

Yes, there are many resources to assist you with meditation. Some are free and some require payment. What a person feels they need or feels most comfortable with in order to get started depends on them. I offer many free resources and I also offer paid resources.
