You must first decide to make a change before any real healing can occur. When you set your intentions or define your goals, you immediately shift to an attitude of healing.
Learning and Practicing a Mindfulness technique
Mindfulness has been shown in many studies to be beneficial to health. Learn mindfulness and several interrelated meditations techniques such as qigong that will help you to improve your health.
One of the keys to healing is to recognize the thoughts that do not serve you and let them go. Why do you ask? Well, thoughts affect your health. Your body doesn't know the difference between you thinking about something and you actually doing it. Your body will react the same. For instance, if you are lying in bed at night, thinking about all the horrible things that happened to you during the day or your lifetime, your body is reacting. Chances are your blood pressure is rising, your heart rate is increasing and other physiological changes are happening. This is the same reaction that would be occurring if you were actually in the situation for which you were thinking about. You are putting your body under stress and must learn to "de-stress" per se. Mindfulness meditation is a way to do this. It trains you to observe your thoughts without judgement and to let them go. Practicing mindfulness meditation also gets you into the habit of being present. When you are present, you are focused in the moment and not on the past.
Learning to Raise your Vibration

When you meditate, you lower the resistance to the natural energy flow in the body and thereby raise your vibration. We are all energetic beings (E=mc2) and our normal healthy state vibrates at a high frequency. If there is a blockage of the natural energy flow, then we vibrate at a level that is lower than our normal high vibrating state. When this occurs, disharmony occurs. The extent of the disharmony is proportional to the degree of the blockage. In simple terms, if there is a major disharmony in the body such as with a major disease, then there is a major blockage of energy flow. With meditation you can begin the process of removing the blockages.
Learning to Feel Good
When is the last time that you really felt good? I mean, felt good physically, spiritually and emotionally and felt this way on a consistent basis? If you feel good on a consistent basis then you are consistently in the good feeling vibration zone and are healthier then someone who is more consistently in the non-good feeling zone. Vibrating consistently in a non-good feeling zone produces diseases of the physical and emotional state.

In the Meditation for Health ProgramTM, you learn to monitor whether you feel good or are in a non-good feeling state. If you are in a non-good feeling state, then you can choose to take steps to raise your vibration to feeling good. When you feel good, you are in a healthy state. If you can maintain your level at feeling good, then you can improve your health and maintain that health.
