You have been trained to believe that there is always someone outside of you who always knows more than you from the physical perspective. You have your teachers, your doctors, your parents, etc. You have been raised to rely on others to make your decision and yet we challenge you to start relying on yourself and your true inner connection to source. That connection that you have, the strongest connection is that of “feelings”. How you feel is in direct correlation to your alignment with your inner self. If you are in a non-good feeling state, then you are out of alignment with who you truly are. If you feel good then you are in alignment.
Most people cannot discern the difference because most times they spend time “outside” of their body. Meaning most times they are spending time in their head. They are not grounded and cannot relate to the messages that are constantly sent from within. This is where the benefits of meditation and grounding come into play. Consistently meditating will get you more in touch with your physical body. When you do, then you can start discerning and noticing the signs that you are given from your inner guides as to your alignment with yourself.
